It often takes time to find your passion, and for me this was certainly the case. I majored in elementary education at Castleton State College until my interest in business continued growing – and calling. After changing my major, I graduated at the top of my class with a degree in Business Management, and enjoyed quite an educational career in finance! The knowledge I gained in finance prepared me well for the business world.

Throughout my college years, and during my early career, the thought of entering the real estate industry had always been in the back of my mind, but it was a special experience that prompted me to take action. A couple of years ago, when my husband John and I began our search for what is now our new home, we met Michael Hughes. Michael is a true professional. He made the purchase of our first home the most pleasant and memorable experience we could have ever hoped for because it was more than a real estate transaction. We built a relationship during that search. He appreciated my real estate interests, and his encouragement for me to pursue my passion helped me reach the turning point. The rest they say, is history. After three years of working as a realtor and learning from the best with Michael and his wife Lauren, I was ready to take the next step and open my own real estate office – with the experience and talents of the amazing Hughes Group Team!
